Classes
Web Design:
This class
introduces students to developing effective and creative web sites. Students
will learn the basics of HTML and will learn what needs to be included in order
to create a good web site. They will work creating their web site using
Microsoft Front Page and will burn their work onto CD-Rom to take home at the
end of the class.

Wacky Techno Science:
Kids explore
with digital microscopes, computers and more as they apply science and
technology together. They learn basic principles of biology, physics, weather,
chemistry and more with hands-on experiments and projects. This is a very
interactive and hands-on class that kids love. Thursdays, Anthem Community
Center, 10/09-10/30, 4:30 to 5:30 PM, $49.00
Gaming 101:
Have you ever wanted to create
something on the computer other than playing games, typing letters, or managing
accounts? Would you like to let your creativity run wild and make your own
computer games? This camp will immerse students into the world of creating
computer games. Students will learn the basics of creating 2D and 3D computer
games using a visual gaming editor. They will learn about the video gaming
industry, elements that are important to include in games (sprites, background,
objects, etc.), and how to create several different types of video games. This
is a FUN class for any future 'video gaming engineer'. At the conclusion of the
class each student will burn work onto CD-Roms.

Multi-Media and
Movie Making: In this
class, children learn to use various forms of multi-media technology and utilize
those forms to create different types of movies. Students will learn to use
digital cameras, camcorders and implement those into real projects. Through the
course of this class they will create a production company that will produce
documentaries, animated films and movies using different technologies, including
green screen animation and more. This is a very creative and hands-on class. At
the end of the class families and friends will be invited to our own ‘film
festival’ complete with popcorn, red carpets and adoring fans. Tuesdays,
09/02-11/04, Desert Shadow Elementary School (PVUSD), 3:00 to 4:15 pm. $120.
Wednesdays, 08/27-10/01,Foothills (PVUSD), 3:00 to 4:15 pm, $120.00 and offered
