Classes Enrolling Now!
Smart Starts is pleased to continue providing a variety of different
programming at locations throughout the Valley. These programs are designed to
be fun and interactive ways for children to reinforce essential skills in
reading, math, science and more.
Smarts Starts classes are also featured as a regular part of the school
curriculum at several places in the area. They are featured at the
Anthem Community Center
Preschool and in their after school
C.A.R.E. program. Our classes are included in
the cost of tuition in those programs and are viewed as 'Centers of Learning'
for all children enrolled. Smarts Starts Juniors for Kindergarteners is also a
regular part of the Kindergarten Enrichment program at Creative Castle Preschool
and is included the cost of their tuition. Children enrolled in these programs
receive 1/2 hour to 1 hour
weekly computer
class. For

ehall@smartstartsllc.com. These classes are comprehensive pre-school technology classes whose
curriculum is thematic based. Children utilize educational software titles that reinforce
the concepts
they are being taught in the classroom. The thematic based curriculum allows us to
coordinate our programs with any themes a pre-school may be running. During
the course of our classes the children are taught several technology concepts
including the parts of the computer. In addition to receiving weekly
updates on the lessons taught for that week our students are evaluated quarterly
to gauge their progress in our programs. They are tested on the parts of
the computer they can identify and also if they know the function of that part
of the computer. Additionally, they are tested on their mouse skills and
navigation skills utilizing educational software. Our classes have a 6:1
student to teacher ratio and a 1:1 technology to student ratio. All
curriculum adheres to the Arizona State Standards set for kindergarten level
students.

Smart Start Kids: Classes for
5-8 Years of Age
These comprehensive technology classes introduce students to the latest
technologies including; Robotics, Animation, Digital Media, Graphic Design and
more. Each class has a 12:1 student to teacher ratio. The classes
are structured for children to work collaboratively in a hands-on approach to
learning. Students will work using laptop computers, digital cameras and
camcorders, digital microscopes, robotic equipment and more. All curriculum
adheres to the Arizona State Standards for technology. These are fun
hands-on classes that help to reinforce school concepts in an innovative
approach to learning.

9-16 years of Age

Media, Graphic Design and more. Each class has a 12:1 student to teacher
ratio. The classes are structured for students to work collaboratively in
a hands-on approach to learning. Students will work using laptop
computers, digital cameras and camcorders, digital microscopes, robotic,
equipment and more. All curriculum adheres to the Arizona State Standards for
technology. These are fun hands-on classes that help to reinforce school
concepts in an innovative approach to learning.
